TSAR – Telemetry Spectrum Analysis & Recorder

RINCON RESEARCH CORPORATION’S
3rd Generation Telemetry Spectrum Analysis Recorder (TSAR) distributed by Telspan Data is
a radio frequency (RF) multi-channel recorder/analyzer with 2-GHz of bandwidth.

Available in 1U and Portable form factors

Highlights

  • Up to 4 channels of coherent (time-aligned) recording & replay
  • Recorded data is time-tagged using the internal GPS or external timing signals
  • Maximum recording rate of 5 GBytes/sec
  • Sub-band tuners provide capability to record channels down to 10 kHz
  • Recordings can be done in single shot or in looped mode
  • In looped mode, new data overwrites older data for indefinite recording duration
  • Data replay reproduces the recorded analog signals to the output channels
  • Web-browser-based control application (FieldVision) runs record/replay applications & allows downloading of recording files directly from the from the web browser
as RAW, BLUE, PLATINUM or CH10 files
  • Network transfer data offload application allows moving data from the recorder to a server at 800 MB/s by running a containerized application on the server
  • FieldTransfer application allows uploading or downloading of RAW or BLUE data files
  • FieldView application presents a spectral view of the entire recording and allows
sub-band tuning & time/frequency measurements; selections can be downloaded
